My name is Dave Scearce. Pronounced (Scarce) like hard to find, rare or limited.
Originally from Virginia, I’ve been in the Charlotte area for 22 years. I’ve been a professional Tattoo Artist for 32. I opened Blood Sweat and Tears Tattoo in 2008 (17 years ago).
I enjoy tattooing many different styles. Japanese, American Traditional, Neo Traditional, Freehand, Cover up work, Black and Grey, Color, New School, Realism, Portraits, Tribal; just about any style. Like most artists, my favorite thing to tattoo is artwork I design myself.
I am now a private studio. I work mostly by appointment only, but walk-in’s are possible. My schedule is very flexible. I’m always happy to work with a client to find the most convenient day and time that works best for them.
