There are several contenders for the role of final villain in One Piece, but none of them have made as much of a personal impact on Monkey D. Luffy as much as Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard. Luffy stands opposed to the Imu and the World Government because they see him as an enemy. Luffy sees Blackbeard as an enemy for having a hand in Portgas D. Ace's death and their own confrontations. Even if Blackbeard doesn't end up being the last enemy Luffy fights, he's still going to be one of the most personal antagonists in the anime.
